比較級の発展表現に続き、次回のREAD、「アメリカ独立宣言の署名」に登場するエピソード、Put your “JOHN HANCOCK” here. がイコール、Sign your name here. の意味となった由来についてお話しました。文法学習だけでなく、アメリカ史を英語で読み進める中で英語独特の表現などを楽しく学んでほしいと思います。
